š¦The Parrot and the Magical Fruit
Share

On a stormy night, an old palace stood tall like a lonely mountain. Inside lived a king who had everythingāgold, silver, soft velvet bedsābut still felt a deep emptiness in his heart.
Only one friend made him truly happy: a bright green and golden parrot who could talk like a person and laugh like a child. The king loved the parrot as if it were his own lost child.
š¦The Parrotās Wish
One evening, the parrot looked sad.
It said softly,
āYour Majesty, I miss my family. If you allow me to visit them once⦠I promise I will come back to you, just like a river returns to the sea.ā
The kingās heart hurt, but he nodded.
āGo, my friend. Visit your family. And come back to me. I will wait.ā
š¦The Gift
A few days later, the parrot returned happily.
āYour Majesty! My family sends you this magical fruit. If you eat it, you will become young again and full of joy!ā
The king hugged the parrot with tears in his eyes.
But the royal minister said,
āDonāt eat it now, Majesty. Plant it in the garden. Let it grow. Then we can test it safely.ā
So the king planted the fruit in the garden.
The Snakeās Bite
Months passed. A beautiful tree grew, full of sweet-smelling fruits.
But one night, a poisonous snake crawled to the tree.
A ripe fruit fell on its head. Angry, the snake bit the fruit, and its poison spread inside.
š¦The Test
The next morning people picked a fruit to test it.
A peacock was brought to taste it.
The moment the peacock took one biteāit fell down and died.
Everyone cried out in shock.
The king looked at the parrot with fear and anger.
āDid you bring poison to kill me?ā
The parrot cried loudly,
āNo, Majesty! I brought it out of love! I only wanted to make you happy again!ā
But anger blinded the king.
He shouted,
āTake this traitor away!ā
And the poor parrot was taken away forever.
š¦The Truth
Years later, people believed the tree to be āthe poisonous tree.ā
One night, a sad old man decided to eat a fruit and end his life.
But instead of dying, he woke up young againāhealthy and full of life!
Everyone realized the truth:
The fruit was magical and good. Only one fruit had been poisoned by the snake.
The king understood his terrible mistake.
He cried in the garden where the parrot once stood and whispered,
āForgive me, my friend. I lost you because of my own fear.ā
